Jacob's House
The acting company itself is impressive. [Flux Theatre Ensemble] is a company
where the core members are comfortable enough with each other
to really take risks, pushing themselves and each other to attain
greater performances...
Isaiah Tanenbaum frankly surprised me in his role as the Lawyer/Messenger; Isaiah has consistently delivered solid, well-thought out performances, but in this one he goes above and beyond, inhabiting the skin of his character to an almost frightening extent, truly a joy to watch.

The actors are all great, particularly... Isaiah Tanenbaum, [who] inhabits his role as if he was made to play it.

[Highlights include] Isaiah Tanenbaum’s comic appearances as the sinisterly leprechaun-like “Messenger.”
The characters are complex, the story is compelling, and the language ranges from good to gorgeous... [the cast is] excellent.
The
Lesser Seductions of History
[D]istinctive, emotionally clear performances. Of the top-notch performers, Isaiah Tanenbaum, as a brilliant nerd who mourns the life he'll never lead [is] particularly impressive.
